Les 38 meilleurs hôtels à Johor Bahru (2024)

This hotel is connected to JB City Shopping Mall and has a fitness room, swimming pool, Dinosaur Water Theme Park for kids, and convenient location.

The receptionist was very helpful and friendly, since the non-smoking fully booked, we got free upgrade to premium room at non-smoking floor. Unfortunately, the wardrobe's sliding door was spoil, the air-conditioner is working but not cold enough the temperature is fixed at 23°c we can't change. Next the TV remote control is also not working as well as the refrigerator. Hopefully the next visit we didn't go through this inconvenience

Great stay at KSL! Did an online booking, and then the Check-up was fast. The room is very nice as I got the view with no building obstruction. Room also very clean and the cleaning staff were all very nice. Check-out was super fast by simply returning the keys into box....but I was thinking they should at least check and verify to avoid any potential dispute on checking out if any.I did not use any of their facilities though cause I did not see much information on how to locate them....anyway, I was not there for the facilities so maybe I overlook....ha ha

Lovely hotel with great location. The check-in process was less than 5 minutes around 3PM of our arrival timing. The staff was very pleasant at the check-in counter. He also explained everything well and there is also express check-out which is convenient too. Overall great hotel but the only thing I can say that needs improvement is their bathrooms. They are well maintained but could be better. We're only staying 1 night,so it's manageable. Definitely worth staying once if you're in JB!

Good value for money. Great location. Front desk staff was friendly, approachable and efficient. Thumbs up for that.Room is basic and relatively clean. Not bad if not expecting a lot but certainly not 4 star hotel level. More like 3 star. 3.5 is pushing it.DownsRoom to room phone service was unavailable.Room 2923 Bathroom smells of sewage systemToilet seat bidet not maintained. sometimes works, most times don't.Bathroom sink - choked. Water without debris don't flow down at all. water level rise up to top (10cm) and took 8 hours to lower to (2cm) Restored to using the shower to wash hands, wash face and brush teeth.Mini fridge was not turn on. Had to switch it on ourselves.

KSL Resort Johor Bahru City Centre is an ideal choice for visitors exploring Johor Bahru. Its central location makes it perfect for those who want easy access to a variety of dining options, shopping malls, and essential amenities. While the service and hotel rooms may not be top-notch, the convenience of the location more than makes up for it. The adjacent mall, while not the most upscale, provides a range of options for shopping and dining. One notable advantage is the affordability of food and products in the vicinity, offering guests a budget-friendly experience. In summary, KSL Resort Johor Bahru City Centre is a practical and convenient choice for those prioritizing location and accessibility, especially for those looking to explore the diverse offerings of Johor Bahru.

Check in hours are from 3pm onwards and check out 12 noon which I think is a good deal. Location is conveniently beside the popular KSL mall. I got a room on a high floor at tower 2. Having heard many bad review before I was fearful , but the room turned out nice and big. I didn't quite like the connecting door though. king sized bed was big and comfy. Coffee tea and 2 bottles of drinking water were provided. There was a small smart TV with many local and Singaporean channels. basic toilet amenities were provided too, including hair dryer. I was surprised to see a bathtub but there were some stains and hence I didn't dare soak in the tub. all in all was good, but I paid quite a hefty bit for 1 night over the weekend.

Great place to stay for short vacation, leisure or with family. The hotel is great and have almost everything you need for a memorable stay. It is easy to locate with Google maps. The parking is free but you must use the parking ticket NOT the touch and go card. Get the complementary parking at the reception counter. The room is spacious. The breakfast is great.

Generally a decent experience for me! Room is good, the location was super convenient and the price shared wasn’t too expensive! Only issue is that the lobby chairs didn’t seem too clean and the towels that was given to my hotel room smelt a little bit funny. But overall pretty good and worth the stay!

It's a good place to visit and not far away from the border. Easy to locate. Services overall are fine. Connected with KSL shopping mall. Many shops, cafe and restaurants. Highly recommended place to stay with friends, families and relatives.

We decided to stay here for the pool slides. We only realized later you had to pay to access the slides, RM20 per person child or adult.Rooms are dated and cleaning needs improvement. If you are driving, access to the hotel is via shared lifts with the mall. During our stay, only 1 lift was working to get to the car park (there were many lift lobbies but all of them only had 1 working lift). Expect to wait a while. For the additional cost of breakfast, the food was below average. You can get better choices outside.Overall, we would not stay here again as you can get better options for a similar price range

Stayed in a 2-room apartment and cleanliness was a major issue. It was dusty causing my allergies to react badly. Fixtures and fittings were badly maintained, lots of spoilt power sockets and the kitchen cabinets were faulty.Irresponsible guests staying above my unit frequently throw cigarette butts into the pool, resulting in unhygienic water. There was also not enough walls between adjacent units, next door guests tend to take a peek over and even with a private pool, there is no privacy as it is totally open between neighbouring units.Worst experience would be the need to find a parking space as the hotel shares the parking lot with the shopping mall. Weird to see other guests do not raise this as an issue but it is a big NO for me especially when I need to park at the hotel side of the building.Entry to the apartment block does not give a sense of security as outsiders can easily come in and they will wait for actual guests to scan their cards to gain access to the elevators. While it is understood that there are residents within the apartment block, many a times can be seen suspicious individuals behaving weirdly when illegally coming into the apartment block.I might be the odd one out but I shall not be returning to this hotel and shall not be recommending it to my family and friends. Perhaps others are more accommodating to such facilities and this hotel seems to be quite acceptable based on the reviews.

Great front desk service,Room is reasonably clean and good.Toilets, though, can be better cleaned. The floor tends to be rather sticky... and stained.Somewhat gross.....BUT, water pressure and hot water level is amazing, even on the 19th floor. With the price, honestly.. I dont complain too much, and still give 5star.

I had a good time, many thanks to Ms. Grace for being so accommodating to our requests, and the staff that kept giving us fresh towels even when we didn't request for them (some higher class places don't even do that). It's a great place to stay and explore the surrounding area, and the mall itself isn't much, but the food court in the mall (Glutton Street the place is called) and the shops nearby are worth the time. Check out Chez Papa which is quite nearby by car... It's worth the money

I had a bad experience with the staff during my breakfast period. It was packed with tourists and staff refused to open up the other side of the dining area. I was with my in-law who is having difficulties walking... I'm not expecting but There was no area specifically "reserved" for elderly, disabled people or families with small kids..The staff wasn't even friendly at all to tourists... I even had to talk to the manager is this the right way Ur staff treats the customer... The manager was seen at the counter area playing his/her hp and not walking around to ensure that everything was in order..The reception staff had some difficulties in communicating during check-in as I can see that they are not local staff (no offense)..I had stayed in a KSL hotel many times before the COVID period... To be honest I wouldn't want to stay in KSL anymore... That day will be the last time I stay in KSL..however the shopping in KSL mall is very good...

Room is old and rundown.Fridge is not working, got hold of room service only after an hour of calling. Technician came by, replaced a fridge waited for another half an hour for another technician to come and check the socket. Eventually, fridge still cannot work.Found ants and small cockroach in toilet.Toilet is dim and dirty, visible stain on toilet seat and bathroom floor. No bath rob and bed room slipper provided because they ran out of stock.Wallpaper peeling off and there’s a funny noise coming out from the aircon.Even though the hotel is located in a prime location, I feel that it is in need of a major makeover. Staff are trying their best to help but there’s simply too many visitors for them to cope.

Many years ago(before Covid), I would have rated 5 star for rooms and service. Stayed there for a couple of days but housekeeping did not service the room at all(even after repeated requests to front office and to the housekeeping staff) . Air-con is down, fridge is faulty(Technician will appear just to show face, but problems not resolved). There are better hotels in JB with lower room rates, clean and functioning rooms and good service. The only saving grace for this hotel is the location. If not, don't bother to stay in this hotel.

Slow check-in (30min). Hotel is attached to a mall & has a crazy busy lobby filled with people, taxi hawkers & stored luggage. Only 3 elevators were working on the 2nd Tower so there was a 5min wait every time. Hallways smell of mold & rotting carpet. We came for the pools & water features (unaware that these are an extra fee even for hotel guests). Overrun with kids & trash, you could hear the kids screaming from 27 floors up.There is no way to contact the front desk via phone, only a QR codes to scan & email issues?? This feels like a safety issue.2nd night our AC went out for 6 hours, sweating in 31C sticky room. Maintenance had to show twice to fix, but it only ever dropped to 27. Then at 5am the Honeymoon suite next to us ended up in a drunken brawl of 7 guys slamming doors & yelling in the hallway. Apparently they were all staying in the 1 bed suite??Breakfast buffet is plentiful, very busy at 8am, but mostly overcooked & cold food that should be hot. 5 out of 10.The entire experience was definitely worth the cheap price we paid.

Alright, folks, recently Donkey & I booked a Superior Twin room through Agoda for a night stay at S$93, which was a fantastic deal! The room was spacious and clean, equipped with essentials like towels and toiletries. The Queen bed came with four comfortable pillows, making for a restful sleep. The single bed, perfect for a child or a light sleeper, also had two pillows for added comfort. I appreciated the layout, with ample space for luggage and movement. The Good:• The Room: The room was spacious and clean, equipped with essentials like towels and toiletries. Booked two rooms one for us and another for the kids. We checked in on 29/12 around 1.30 p.m. and had made a humble request for interconnecting rooms as we have big and small kids tagging along. The foreign receptionist was not very friendly and refused our request without referring to her superior. We are fortunate that her manager, Mr Sanjay (not sure if the name is right) has overhead the conversation and granted us a complimentary upgrading. Bravo to his fast action for a thumb up service. The hotel rooms were clean just a tiny winy urine smell in the toilet. They do not have room slippers and sanitary bags.Breakfast was good too except that one of the staff refilling the food was seen with face mask under his nose on two occasion which i deem a little inappropriate.Other than that, overall it was a good experience and we may come back again.

Last visited in 2013 all good. Now it's so bad. Reached, we stuck in a lift around 10 minutes! Lift broken without any notice. The toilet room is smelly, even after complaining that it is still smelly. The mall is so limited to halal food. The theme park needs to pay for rm20/each. This is my last visit.

Everything was good. The location, the room & the facilities. But I noticed that my bag was being rummaged when I came back & I lost my wireless ear piece. Not an expensive one.But it does disappoint me & make me think twice how secured the place is.At night, the room next door were very noisy even until 3am.Called the reception twice before the volume was lowered. Not too bad for the location & facilities. But I will think twice when it comes to the level of security.

Forgot to take pics of the place but experience here was horrible.Starting with the service by Rabia when I was checking in. "Service with a smile" NOT. Horrible attitude and rude.Hotel looks lively from the outside, but inside is quite run down, not well maintained. Bed are comfortable but not sure where the flying ants were coming in from. There were a few strands of hair lying around also.Walls are thin so be wary. Only good thing about the place is the location - close to city centre. Also if you made booking through 3rd party sites, please insist on getting your invoice from the hotel. Morning reception told me they don't issue invoices for bookings made on other platforms, but by right they should. Trying to get my invoice but it's been 2 whole days and they haven't sorted it out. Lousy.

A 4 star hotel but with 1 star service. Front desk unprofessional at all. Smelly towel, sink & bathtub also clogged which we have to wait for minutes to hours for the water to drain before the next person can took bath. Mini fridge also not working though we have switch on the plug. Bedsheets also got stains. Breakfast served also not much variety. Need to wait long queue to go up/down because the lift was small & super slow. From 4 lifts, only 2 are working at Tower 1. The room also was not properly insulated with sound proof. You can hear other people talking. Definitely will not stay here again though the view from high floor was nice overlooking the city.

We paid RM986 for 4 bedroom 3 bathroom apartment stay from Monday to Wednesday 2 nights excluding RM20 tourist tax. You are required to pay RM100 refundable deposit when check in.We check in at 2pm and check out at 12pm.You can leave your luggage at the concierge.Only 2 card keys are given to access the apartment although we have 5 adults. I did request for 1 more card but declined. What I would bring/prepare for this/next stay:A roll of kitchen towelA kitchen cloth wipeA pair of scissorBottled water if you need plenty of waterYour preferred hot/cold beveragesA box of tissueA toilet paper rollA can of disinfectantYour room slippersHand towel for the kitchen if you needYour own shampoo & conditionerYour own body wash if you don’t like soapHand wash detergent if you don’t like hand soapOverall stay is comfortable but the surrounding is noisy. Our room is 2205A. The common bathroom sink leaks when water is turned on.The windows are not noise proof. You hear noises from the street.Free Internet access is available but it will slow down when everyone is on it.

I really didn’t have much expectations for the room as the hotel has been around for a while. Good thing is that the rooms are still maintained in acceptable conditions. The huge plus point for the hotel is the walkability to so many restaurants and to KSL shopping mall. The pool is big but it’s usually crowded with a lot of children. You won’t be able to find a lot of chairs to relax by the pool as well. Due to the convenience that the hotel has to offer, will definitely consider to book again in the future. In summary, good hotel with great value. Front of house staff is really friendly and helpful as well.

- The road to parking entrance is horrible. The hotel parking lot is not specified.- The worst part is the hotel room. We only stay for 2 days 1 night, and already got a lot problems with the room during the first day we stay. Firstly is the air-con, its not functioning well. The whole room feels like a sauna, causing us to feel dizzy. The room do not have enough lights, making the room very dark. The room is quite dirty as well, there are some stains and mold on the cabinet. And especially the toilet, it’s very unclean. The cup they did not clean properly, there are some stains on it.- there is free wifi, but cannot use. So its useless- the service is so bad! Called for the service to fix the air-con but they came after we called 3 times. The hotel reception worker attitude is very bad! We checked in at night time with a lot suitcases, but the worker saw us as if we’re invisible. They did not offer to help.- but I won’t deny that the location is good, there is a shopping mall beside. And there are a lot food stores as well.- to sum it up, this hotel is not recommended to stay. We pay RM700+ for 3 nights to stay in a hotel room with so many problems…🤦‍♀️

Stayed there over the weekend recently. Well, it's a spot on hotel if you intend to move around KSL Mall area... and easy to get around the area.Staffs are helpful and the rooms are generally cleaned. Just a few shortfall, like the towel. New towel with a kind of smell that is quite unpleasant when used. The cupboard only comes with one side door. The telephone is completely dead that you can never reach the front desk or room service.Well, that's the shortcomings of the hotel which during my stay with them.

Extreme terrible service! How can the hotel staff ring the door bell at middle of the night, exact timing 525am!!! Yes, is 525am!!! Ring our door bell just to ask whether if we checking out the day of itself!!! The hotel staff was a dark skin Indian guy!Let’s talk about the room, the room has a weird smell when we stepped in, the air con has a weird engine sound when we increase the temperature! We can even hear the conversation of next room! The sound proof was horrible!Overall, a bad bad experience at KSL Hotel resort! Don’t ever stay!!!

First of all, room service for housekeeping was extremely non responsive. Requested for 2-3 times. Been 1.5hours to 3 hours and no housekeeping service yet. Not acceptable.Secondly, lifts were as slow as tortoise.Thirdly, all concierge hotel staff seems unfriendly. They are in a hospitality industry. They should be re-educated and trained.

Reasonably priced hotel. A bit run down in the hallways when closely inspected but still value for money. The beds are comfy, and the shower is good. The room was tidy. The only issue I found was the elevators that run in parallel. It takes long to go up or down with many people queueing. But I will definitely visit again

KSL Resort is familiar place for holiday-makers looking to shop, feast and get massages. The hotel is conveniently located a few km from the causeway, with eateries aplenty in the surrounding streets, literally just across the road. The hotel also links to the mall with more eateries, loads of shops (gadget lovers and fashionistas will love these) but, perhaps quite importantly, spas for massages, nails and hair. These have been covered by other reviewers. What I want to share is the very well-appointed gym, with separate rooms for weights, cardio and static machines. Note that this is accessed from the pool side down a corridor by the Twilight Lounge & Bar, through the pool and ping-pong tables. But well worth a visit, especially with all that feasting!

My family recently stayed at this hotel and had a mixed experience. The room looked old and in need of renovation, which detracted from the overall comfort. The bathroom was particularly disappointing, with a lingering cigarette smell and cleanliness issues.Adding to the inconvenience, the room telephone wasn't working, making it impossible to call for room service. On a positive note, the location is very convenient as it's next to a shopping mall and plenty of eateries. Additionally, the check-in and check-out process was fast and efficient.Overall, while the location and service speed were commendable, the state of the room and bathroom left much to be desired.

We paid about $180SGD for 3d 2n, for that price the room was decent. Room light is deemed most of the time. There was left over crackers below the TV console table when we first came into the room.Room service was however quick with our request and response. Location wise is also good and not far from most good malls and attractions.Overall 7/10

We were in Tower 1. Stayed one night.Safe was broken. Couldnt be fixed or replaced.Door lock was broken, can be pushed in and room entered by anyone. Someone came up to fix it.Phone was not working. Had to go down to reception every time.Lights were very dark. Cant barely see anything in the room and bathroom. Definitely cant work or read.No liquid hand soap for washing hands after using toilet.Lifts served every floor and would stop at nearly every floor, always very long wait for the lift and very long journey down. Can hear sounds from corridor and next room very clearly. Very noisy and cant sleep at night.Would not return.

Located in somewhat Chinese area, it is inside a shopping mall which is filled with 90% hair salons & nail parlors and 10% with phone casings/cables/gadgets stores. At the lower ground you will find some food shops, but rather limited choice being majority of them being Chinese foods and no other Malay nor Indian cuisine. Prices in the mall is on the high side catered for Singaporeans from the looks of it, meh.Hotel rooms was OK not bad clean sheets and fluffy pillows, bathroom size good, bidet by the toilet seat, good lighting, huge TV, water kettle with the usual coffee is provided. Swimming pool was decent, but for the water park where kids can play there is an entrance fee which should not be the case if you are taking a room at the hotel itself!Service at the hotel cafe below needs to be improved, staffs even their floor managers were rude and talking so loud in front of patrons while taking food. Asked help for extra plates and utensils nobody helped and the way they answered was with harsh tone of voice and unhelpful. What happened to the courtesy and empathy? Please treat everyone with respect regardless.

Comfortable hotel rooms, kind staff and the breakfast was great. The only downside was the internet being so slow, probably when the hotel was extremely busy! Also, I'm not a fan of the busy area, but I suppose it had it's upside being so close to Singapore and with all the good food options around.

They have a hotel and service apartment, attached to this mall. It also has a spacious shopping mall attached, that is a bonus that provides many trades and services. For example they have a supermarket, sports stall, cinema, many massage parlors, saloons and F&B outlets. Good for foreigners and locals to spend a whole day shopping. The stay will relax and be comfortable.

The room was spacious and clean, equipped with essentials like towels and toiletries. The king bed with four comfortable pillows are great options. The pool on level 7 was lovely, with a adjacent dinosaur-themed water park. Entry to the water park is RM20 per adult or child for hotel guests. Otherwise, it's RM50 I think. The hotel is divided into two towers, and the clear signage makes it easy to navigate. One of the biggest perks is the direct link to KSL Mall, which boasts many hair salons and a supermarket. Just behind the hotel, there are plenty of local food options to explore. Most other malls and eateries are just a short Grab ride away, at around RM20. All in all, KSL Hotel & Resort offers great convenience and comfort, making it a solid choice for a short stay.

The hotel room was okay. Spacious but you can see that it’s not cleaned very well cause of dusts in some cupboards. The corner walls were also peeling out.The main problems were the wifi it is too slow and does not have connection most of the time. The 2 lift in Tower 2 where we stayed was under maintenance so there were only 2 lift accessible to the guest therefore causing the traffic and a long time of waiting to take going down and along queue going up.

Had the pleasure of staying at KSL Hotel & Resort over the weekend, and had a wonderful experience throughout my stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and hospitable, they responded to enquiries quickly and conveniently through WhatsApp.We booked two rooms and were given connecting rooms, which was perfect for our family. The rooms were impeccably clean, and the complimentary bar items were a lovely touch. The facilities at KSL Hotel & Resort were more than adequate. The gym was impressive, boasting more basic equipment than usual hotel gyms. It included equipments such as smith machine, leg extension, a wide range of cardio equipment, and dumbbells ranging from 2kg to 25kg. The pools were of a decent size and well-maintained. There is also a small water playground with a fee, suitable for families with young children. The location is perfect, the hotel situated right next to KSL Mall. This made it incredibly convenient to take a quick nap from shopping or hop down for a massage or facial whenever we liked. The only downside was the lift service. With only four lifts to service a large number of guests, it often took a long time to get down, especially during peak times like check-out and breakfast. Staying on one of the lower floors, the lifts were often packed, making the wait even longer.Overall, the hotel provided an excellent stay with its superb service, location and well-maintained facilities. Highly recommended!

Pros:1. Next to a mall.2. Large & spacious room.3. Great shower pressure.4. Toiletries smell good.5. Nice pool.Cons:1. The mall is very congested and feels like a busy market with aircon.2. Room is dark (lack of bedside lamps), and very dated (the entrance door cannot be closed properly).3. Internet has zero connectivity (extremely horrible).4. Receptionist don't pickup call despite calling 5 times and full ring. They only reply to Whatsapp (thank goodness)5. I can hear my neighbor shower and turn the sink tap on and off, like as though they're showing IN my room without closing the toilet door. It was extremely noisy.Eventually I changed room.I never wanna stay here again NO NO NO!

Just stayed one night, exceptional value.Nostalgia like in the 90s feeling in the lobby and attached mall facilities. Mall lifts at all lobbies undergoing retro-fitting so that's good for future users. But dragging on for awhile now, many months I believe....Management might have to consider upgrading fixtures and lightings for a more modern outreach.Excellent location but can get confusing for drivers with many one-way lanes snaking in and out of the area.Ample parking on higher floors. Staff were excellent and service on time.Would recommend... 👍👍👍

We stayed at KSL Hotel for 3 nights and 4 days. The room was clean. The cleaning service did a good job. They replenished the towels and bottles and did our beds nicely. However the bathroom could have been better furnished. The shower head was hanging to a side due to its holder had loosened. The bathtub was stained and I wasn't comfortable using it and I didn't. The hotel's buffet was not the best I had. They had almost same food for the 3 days we ate there. The variety was very bad. And the Christmas Dinner was quite bad. There was even less variety than the normal days. On the positive side, the KSL mall wasn't that bad. There is a theatre, indoor playground, restaurants, other shops to do some shopping. Overall it was a good stay.

This my 1st time staying in this so called “Hotel & Resort “.And definitely will be my last and definitely will NOT recommend this hotel to anybody. To begin with, the lobby is so HOT!JUST to check in and check out can spoil your day waiting in line ,sweating in Que for that several minutes! Then the room, aircond is not working well too! Hairdryer not functioning well! Mattress is probably so old that it’s bumpy! The lifts are half operating and you have to wait long! The one and only credit I give the management is they hire some senior citizens or retirees who is still capable of working. I give a thumbs up to these few I crossed path with as they are friendlier and understands the principles of being in the Service industry as hotelier ( the restaurant to be precise)Unlike the others (not all) at the front office who behaves like they are doing me a favor by allowing me to pay for my stay there.Dear Management Team - train your staffs especially at the front office to smile and speak politely!

Had to stay in a room where the floor is oily. Called reception upon check-in to ask for housekeeping to come and mop the floor, waited for an hour in the room for them to come but it never happen. So we decided to go on with our plan thinking that housekeeping would come and mop the floor. We come back to the room at 1am and the floor was not mop, it's still oily. If the management does see this review, I really hope that you would take this matter seriously to improve on hygiene and safety in all your hotel rooms.

Most of the hotel rooms are newly renovated, the rooms are always clean and tidy. The staff are professional trained and knowledgeable, they always put on a smile when answering the questions.I would like to compliment the warmth service of Mr Abdul Rehman , he is always patient when answering to all my queries. He would also advise where are the nearby shops to buy groceries and must try restaurants, their signature dishes etc.

The hotel is near the Woodlands checkpoint and the KSL City Mall is connected to the hotel therefore accessibility was great. There were three of us hence we booked the three-bedroom apartment instead of the hotel (which was a first for all of us). The apartment was D'Esplanade. We were given the room on the 33rd storey, and it was clean and basic. Amenities like hairdryer, bottled water, toilet paper, towel, toothbrushes and soap were provided for. The air-conditioning was great. Living room was spacious. Downside of this is there was only a lift working when we were there? It had to service so many guests of this place, and it took us approximately 15 minutes just to get to the lobby from our room. As for the surroundings, plenty of food options available. Been to KSL mall countless times but it is still the same as before - high competition on beauty services with a cineplex, food and shopping options.

Stayed 2 weeks ago in tower 2, it is impressive experience, very convenient to KSL mall, in fact you can go through in lobby hall to kSL mall. Room is clean and we want to extend one night but was told that fully booked. Will come again next Monday.

Hello again, I am Anthony, a Google reviewer from Indonesia.I am writing to inquire about the availability of a room at your hotel. I understand that the hotel is currently fully booked, but I would like to be added to the waitlist and notified if a room becomes available.I am particularly interested in staying at your hotel because of its excellent reputation and the positive reviews I have read online. I am confident that I would enjoy my stay and would be happy to recommend your hotel to others.Thank you for your time and consideration. I look forward to hearing from you soon.Best regards,Anthony

My recent stay [13 - 15 June 2024] at KSL was nothing short of disappointing. Despite its promise of a luxurious experience with a private pool, the reality was far from it.**Cleanliness and Facilities:**The overall cleanliness of the resort was appalling. Our private pool, which was supposed to be a highlight of our stay, had murky water with visible debris. The room itself was not any better, with dusty surfaces and stained bed linens. The bathroom was grimy, and the presence of mold in the shower area was alarming.**Waiting Time for the Lift:**One of the most frustrating aspects was the wait for the lift. During peak times, we found ourselves waiting for over 30 minutes just to get to our room. This was not only inconvenient but also indicative of poor management and inadequate facilities for the number of guests.**Carpark and Signage:**The carpark was a nightmare. It was poorly lit, cramped, and difficult to navigate. Adding to the frustration were the misleading signs that did little to help us find our way. It took us an unnecessary amount of time just to find a spot, only to struggle again to locate the correct building entrance.**Price vs. Quality:**For the price we paid, the experience was far below expectations. The resort is significantly overpriced considering the subpar conditions and services provided. We felt that we were not getting our money’s worth, especially when compared to other resorts we have stayed at in the same price range.**Furniture and Amenities:**The furniture in our room was outdated and worn out. The couch had visible tears, and the bed creaked with the slightest movement. The overall decor felt like it hadn't been updated in decades, contributing to an overall feeling of neglect and decay.**Mosquito Problem:**To top it all off, the mosquito problem was unbearable. Despite keeping the doors and windows closed, the room was constantly swarming with mosquitoes. We ended up with numerous bites, making our stay even more uncomfortable. In conclusion, KSL RESORT failed to deliver on its promises of a luxury stay. The poor cleanliness, frustrating lift wait times, terrible carpark, misleading signage, and outdated furniture, coupled with the mosquito infestation, made this an experience we would not wish to repeat. We would strongly advise looking elsewhere for a truly enjoyable and relaxing getaway.

Booked an Executive Suite on 29 March and it was not cheap but the suite had NO air con. Room temperature was at 30 degree and technician came twice and still not solved. Lucky stayed only one night as staying outside the hotel would have been cooler & more comfortable in such a hot & humid weather. Paying such a high price for a suite with no air conditioning is just ridiculous. There was also a funky toilet smell at the hotel lobby & walkway. Room also very dusty. Booking the nearby budget hotels that actually has air con will be the more sane choice

Super impressed with the huge gym and various equipments! This is the biggest hotel gym I have ever seen! There is also a large games room where you can play billiards, simulated golf, table tennis and such. Not so impressed with the buffet breakfast though...you can skip that and go elsewhere. The room is a little frayed at the edges but the beds are very comfy. Liked the shampoo and shower gel smell and towels are delicately scented! Delightful! There's a tv, fridge, safe, electric kettle and enough power points to charge up your devices. Wifi speed is acceptable. Had a room with city view but it was marred by dirt on the outside.Overall, a pleasant weekend stay! Book direct and get a 15% off the published rates!

Great location. It would cost RM5-RM7 via taxi to reach this hotel from JB central. There are 2 towers and good high floors with good view. Quite a costly place to stay, but I preferred this for its location and services vise. Morning buffet starts at 6.30am till 10am. Decent food I would say. Could pay for lunch and dinner as well. There is a lounge & bar at level 7 where pool is located. Lounge and bar services close at 9pm. The gym, meeting hall and everything is closed and locked after 9pm. You could just go to the KSL mall via hotel itself. The surrounding streets have night shops and food. The bed was clean. Toilet was clean. There is Bali cafe bistro and bar at lobby level. Could checkout on Friday night and Saturday night.

1) ROOM:Even though we were asked by their staffs if we are smoker or non-smoker when we checked-in, the room that they assigned to us smells like cigarettes. stayed only 1 night as this can affect my health. The electric kettle still have some leftover water when we tried to boil some water for our noodles. The toilet rolls is not even new and only has a few left.No bath robe.No utensils inside of the room though you can borrow it from their restaurant but only if the restaurant still open during the time you make your request. No Microwave.TV is big. can only watch digital channel which you didn’t even bother to watch. No Netflix, No Youtube. Cannot screen cast your devices and not even connected to Wi-Fi.Although one of the HDMI inputs in the TV has the chromecast in it but they didn’t even left the remote for it so its useless.2) BREAKFAST:It’s okay I guess if you’re hungry.Limited choices. from local foods to english breakfast. Area is quite spacious.3) LOCATION:Good. Accessible. Easy to book Grab Taxi. Has a Mall.4) WIFI:Public network. Be careful when browsing.5) AMENITIES:The Gym, Pool and Game areas are okay. Thanks for the experience. Never again.

Definitely NOT RECOMMENDED!First of all, no air conditioning at the lobby, hot as hell for such a weather in Malaysia.Request a quiet room, was given a connecting room with a LOUD neighbour.Room and furniture is old and without proper maintenance, corners of the bathroom are not clean.Fridge and air conditioning in room not cold enough, hairdryer broken and not stick to the wall when it should be as in picture.Requested for basic amenities such as hair conditioner and shaving kit which should be available in all hotels even motels, however unfortunately they are NOT AVAILABLE at here the KSL Resort and Hotel!Inquire and requests raised to manager, no apologies and nothing fixed.Totally unacceptable and definitely not recommended to anyone unless you prefer being treated like a masochism.

Ok hotel for the price and prime location, easily accessible to many eateries. However, wouldn’t recommend for long stay. Hotel not very well maintained (e.g. faulty toilet seat) and is not the cleanest. This was our first time staying at KSL resort but will also be our last time. We went with our 16 months old baby and requested for a baby cot. The baby cot that the hotel provided is in a super bad condition. I feel disgusted just by looking at it. Not sure how the hotel feels about providing such quality cot to their guests. I rather they tell their hotel guests that they do not have any baby cot to offer.

Nice place for a short stay with family. Everything from shopping, food, entertainment, all inside. While I went out for my business meetings, my family had good time shopping within the mall. The breakfast was good and the staffs in the reception and chefs were very kind and helpful.

The room was clean but there are a lot of small insects running around especially near the wood furniture. Room size are comfortable and toilets are clean. But the KSL mall was a bit messy for me as most of the shops there were doing messages or saloon or mobile accessories. Good is there are quite few local eateries nearby by walking distance.

This is my second time staying at KSL Hotel due to its convenience and accessibility. However, I do not recommend this hotel for the following reasons:1. Hotel is not well maintained and not well kept.2. A lot of the utilities in the hotel room are not functioning well.3. Maintenance crew who came and service the room just said that it’s normal to wait for the water to flow down the sink. It is obviously stuck and they have no resolution to it.4. I have paid more for a Premium Deluxe Room and my room has bathroom door not sliding properly, bathroom door does not have a lock, a non-smoking room is filled with cigarette smoke, peeling off wooden laminates.5. If you have work on hand while on vacation, please do not rely on the wifi provided here. It is not even connected most of the time.6. Request for a change of room is a common phenomenon here. Arriving at check-in time while your room is still not ready is very common as well.7. Toilet seat cannot be flushed as the water flow is so weak due to the small amount of water adjusted in the water reservoir.8. I booked the room with bathtub. However, can you imagine, even the bathtub is choke and water could not flow down. There goes my bathtub. This is, and will be the last time I am staying at this horrendous hotel. I am here to stay as a patron, and not to audit your hotel rooms. As I am typing this now, cigarette smell continues to enter through the aircon duct.I still have 4 nights to endure before making our way home.

Spacious and centrally located to nice eatery and shops. Cleanliness can be further improved. No soundproof in rooms so can be quite noisy. Pillow is very soft and neck is aching. The hotel need a touch up as some features are worn I can’t call this a 4 stars but the price is great for room including hotel breakfast for 3 even when booked at the last minute.
